41H5nZxDeCL._SX327_BO1,204,203,200_This summer, I was honored to be named “Composer of the Year” by the South Carolina Music Teacher’s Association. Part of my responsibility in this position is the composition of a work for their annual state conference. The work uses three Aesop’s Fables as source material and is written for narrator and four-hand piano. Titled, “Three Tales for Four Hands,” it is modeled on Poulenc’s “The Story of Babar.”
